Fall Walk

I was in Rexburg a few weeks ago and we took our traditional fall walk. 

I'm usually the one who mourns Summers end far longer than necessary, but this year I have been thoroughly enjoying the coming of a new season. I love how crisp and fresh everything feels!

it's time to get this blog going again!

i was playing around with an old image, just for fun, and i'm pretty excited about what i came up with. i even discovered some new tricks with photoshop!

it isn't a perfect image, but i figured i'd post just for the before and after.

i recommend clicking on the image and flipping between the two. i think it's pretty cool, but i might be biased....

three girls and a boy

can i just tell you how much i love these kids. they have so much personality!

evelyn kate - so full of life and energy! she is caring and always including others.

the one boy, jackson kelly - the sweetest boy you will ever meet with a smile that will melt your heart. he is always on the move and is already quite the little engineer. 

adalie jane - stubborn, joyful, and a girl who knows what she wants.

miss maren mckinley - she is the happiest baby i have ever met! so easy going and content with life.

the three girls (jackson would have nothing to do with more pictures. typical boy) - i love seeing siblings interact with eachother. melts my heart  <3

can't wait to see these four again!

this is my grandpa - completely natural, not posed, just doing what he does.

i took some pictures of my brothers cute little family and used the opportunity to experiment with a little different editing process. it's a combination of photoshop and lightroom, and can i just say that i am in love with the results! definitely different from what i usually do, but i think it may very well become my standard.

last wedding of the summer

it has been a wedding filled summer! this last wedding was for my amazing cousin, sierra! i am so happy for her and jared. they are the best and i miss living close enough to hang out with them. come visit me in logan!

in case you didn't notice, i did not get any pictures of the bride and groom together.... or really any real "wedding" pictures for that matter.

i know i am horribly behind, but i promise i will get aught up.... eventually. don't give up on me quite yet! i have a family, engagements and a gorgeous bride coming up, so stay tuned!

for startes, my cousin got married! our first semester of college, she and i were attached at the hip and i am so happy that she found such a great guy to marry! also, she met her husband in jerusalem, so that's pretty cool.

my camera didn't get out as much as i was hoping, but i got some fun ones of us waiting for them outside the temple.
