if you didn't notice, i got myself a spiffy new watermark for my photography (thanks for your help jack!)  i always say, this little business is a work in progress, and this "progress" is particularly exciting to me. 

maybe i'm a little nerdy for my over excitement, but i'm proud of it  :)

rexburg engagement photographer

we were scheduled to take engagement pictures at 7:00 on wednesday. at 6:00 it decided to downpour rain, which was completely out of the blue. it let up, but the clouds were still luminously dark and ready to burst again at any moment. we discussed rescheduling, but we had already done so once and didn't want to postpone again. in the end, we decided to take our chances and see what we could get. luck smiled down on us and we only got a little sprinkling.

i was a little disappointed we didn't get to use the backup umbrella that i brought, but i'll save those ideas for another time. susie and dan are honestly one of my favorite couples of all time, and this was probably the most fun i have ever had during an engagement shoot. thanks for letting me photograph you lovely people!

we took these at the same time as the family pictures below, but i thought i'd put them in a different post just cause  :)  Logan recently graduated dental school at case western and is now moving to coeur d'alene idaho to be a real live dentist! he wanted a nice picture for the job, and i think we were successful.

we went to a nearby park to take some amazing photographs, as well as let the kids play and have a little fun of their own. it worked like a charm!

meet susie

susie is one of my most favorite people! she has been one that i could always count on to help me out with last minute photo shoots as either my subject or an assistant. she is fabulous!

susie recently asked me to do her engagement pictures and i am so honored! stay tuned for some incredible shots of the happy couple  :)
